We recruit for both full time and part time freelance positions.  So it’s really up to you.  Make sure you outline how many hours you are able to freelance per day, on your application form and we’ll try and accommodate this.

Some jobs will require you to be online during specific working hours but others will be more flexible.

Yes, you need to be at the top of your game career and be skilled in your particular field to be part of the Ubuntu Freelancers Team.  Experience in working virtually is not essential as we will train you in best practices for working online.

It is a 4-step detailed application process and is time consuming; however, it helps us make sure we hire the best freelancers for our clients.

You need a quiet area to work from, with an alternative power source that ensures you are never without Wi-Fi.  International clients do not understand delays in meeting deadlines due to loadshedding.

There are no direct costs to you.  We charge a variable commission on earnings – so we make money when you do.  This is all explained in detail during the selection and onboarding process, along with the payment processes.
